Suddhi Wadani for Chinese ethnic
“ We don’t need certificate as a Hindu, Sahroni told Media Hindu after he and 40 Chinese friends followed Suddhi Wadani (becoming Hindu) in Jakarta, 19th April 2008. Took place in Vihara Tan Tong Jin Pek Pek Bio, they became Hindu with their own consciousness without any force nor intimidation. Ketut Bantas, leader of Jakarta Hindu Parisadh (Parisadha Hindu Dharma Jakarta), said actually most of them have done it 20 years ago in pig stall but unfortunately without regular teaching.
Realize the weakness, now every night from Monday to Friday they have a teacher in Pura Cikung (Cikung temple), Made Sukarsa who take 40 km from Jakarta. Toni Rimba, Doni Saputra represented other Chinese ethnic hope that Hindu Tionghoa (Chinese) will be part of Hindu Nusantara. Otherwise, again they could be misleading as result of no guidance and support from another Hinduism ethnic in Indonesia.
Tri Utami being converted ?
“Can I use Gayatri Mantram while meditation and when is it the best?” Tri Utami asked as quoted by Media Hindu during her discussion with A.S Kobalen. Tri Utami surprised when Kobalen, meditation practitioner told her that her name, Tri Utami derived from Tri means three and Uttami means sacred, as symbols of Gayatri, Savitri, and Sarasvati ( three symbols of sacred power).
Tri Utami (non Hindu), very famous singer in Indonesia sang Gayatri Mantram in National Dharma Shanti 2008 in Jakarta to commemorate New Year Saka 1930. She believes that God is one and could be everywhere and called as many names. Tri Utami wrote a book tittled Karmaphala and believes Reincarnation as well. Was she converted into Hindu? So many peoples believe on Hindu principles such as Dharma, Reincarnation, Karmaphala, as well as practicing its conduct i.e meditation, yoga, etc without being judged as Hindu follower. The question then, is it comply with their dogma/belief ?
